These Terms & Conditions govern all access to and transactions conducted via the Versjon website.

3. Nature of Offering

All domains presented on Versjon are independently owned digital assets offered for direct acquisition and subject to availability at the time of agreement.

The presentation of a domain on this website does not constitute a legally binding offer within the meaning of Belgian contract law.

No agreement is formed automatically by:

  • Viewing a domain
  • Submitting an inquiry
  • Clicking a purchase interface
  • Initiating payment without confirmation

A binding agreement is formed only after:

  1. Payment has been successfully received and confirmed; and
  2. Written confirmation of the transaction has been issued by Oseb BV.

Availability may change without prior notice.

4. Pricing

All displayed prices represent fixed acquisition prices unless explicitly stated otherwise.

  • Prices are exclusive of VAT where applicable.
  • VAT treatment follows Belgian and EU tax regulations.
  • Prices may be adjusted at any time prior to confirmed payment.
  • Currency conversion differences are borne by the purchaser.

No auction mechanics, automated bidding systems, or dynamic pricing environments are used.

5. Payment & Transaction Infrastructure

Transactions are processed through Efty Pay, a secure payment infrastructure integrated within the Versjon sales environment.

The transaction process includes:

  • Secure payment handling
  • Temporary safeguarding of funds during transfer initiation
  • Coordinated ownership transfer
  • Confirmation of successful domain control

Ownership is transferred only after:

  • Payment confirmation; and
  • Acceptance of transfer by the acquiring party.

Oseb BV reserves the right to decline or cancel a transaction prior to written confirmation in cases including, but not limited to: payment irregularities, fraud suspicion, compliance concerns, or identity verification failure.

6. Domain Transfer Mechanics

Domain transfers are executed in accordance with standard registrar procedures and ICANN regulations where applicable.

Transfer methods may include:

  • Account push within the same registrar
  • Authorization code (EPP) transfer
  • Registrar-assisted migration

Estimated timelines depend on the receiving registrar, applicable registry rules, and technical verification processes.

Versjon coordinates the transfer professionally but is not responsible for delays or procedural requirements imposed by third-party registrars.

Risk of delay caused by registrar policy, technical holds, or transfer locks does not constitute contractual breach by Oseb BV.

7. Reservation of Title

Legal ownership and control of the domain name transfer only upon confirmed payment receipt and successful technical completion of the transfer process.

Until that moment, full legal title remains with Oseb BV.

8. Due Diligence & No Warranty of Commercial Outcome

The acquisition of a domain name does not guarantee:

  • Business success
  • Trademark clearance
  • Regulatory approval
  • Market acceptance
  • SEO performance
  • Investment return

Purchasers are solely responsible for conducting independent legal, trademark, and commercial due diligence prior to acquisition.

Versjon does not provide legal, tax, investment, or trademark advice.

Domains are sold “as is”.

9. Intellectual Property

All written content, structure, design elements, presentation copy, and branding on Versjon are the intellectual property of Oseb BV.

Acquisition of a domain name does not include rights to:

  • Website copy
  • Brand positioning text
  • Strategic presentation materials
  • Internal naming frameworks

Reproduction without written consent is prohibited.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under Belgian law:

  • Oseb BV shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages.
  • Oseb BV shall not be liable for lost profits, business interruption, reputational damage, or third-party claims.
  • Oseb BV shall not be liable for delays or procedural actions by registrars or registry operators.

Total liability, regardless of legal basis, is limited to the acquisition amount paid for the respective domain.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is not permitted under mandatory Belgian law.

11. Availability & Priority

Domain availability is subject to prior sale.

In case of conflicting acquisition attempts:

  • Priority is determined by confirmed payment timestamp.
  • No reservation is guaranteed until written confirmation is issued.

Versjon may withdraw a domain from availability at any time prior to confirmation.

12. Anti-Fraud & Compliance

Oseb BV reserves the right to perform identity verification and compliance checks where reasonably required.

Transactions may be suspended or refused in case of fraud suspicion, AML-related concerns, or regulatory compliance risks.

Versjon may request additional documentation to satisfy compliance obligations.

13. Force Majeure

Oseb BV shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to technical infrastructure failures, registrar system outages, cybersecurity incidents, regulatory actions, or force majeure events under Belgian law.

14. Cooling-Off & Right of Withdrawal

Domain name acquisitions constitute transfers of unique digital assets.

Where transactions are conducted in a professional or business capacity, Belgian consumer withdrawal rights do not apply.

Where mandatory consumer protections apply, the nature of digital asset transfer and immediate performance may limit withdrawal rights in accordance with applicable Belgian and EU law.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed exclusively by the laws of Belgium.

Any dispute arising from website usage or transactions shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Belgium.

16. Amendments

Oseb BV reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.

The applicable version is the one in effect at the time of transaction confirmation.
